NEWS ABOUT PCS
: Public Communications Strategies (PCS) is leading a new project that will
create a public media service on multi-media platforms for underserved
audiences in Los Angeles. This innovative project will be the first of its
kind in the United States and is funded by the Corporation for Public
Broadcasting.
: PCS helped engineer a new partnership between its client -- The Drucker
Graduate School of Management -- and the Los Angeles Library Foundation. The
Drucker School will be the academic partner for an exciting new forum series
on business. Recent speakers have included Eli Broad, billionaire
philanthropist; Nandan Nilekani, the Bill Gates of India and founder of
Infosys; and Sir Ken Robinson, the British arts and innovation expert.
: PCS recently learned that it will be part of a team leading a new effort
to develop practical strategies for economic security for the Latino
community as part of our work with the UCLA Center for Policy Research on
Aging. This project is funded by The Ford Foundation.
